Creando Raices Familiares/Creating Family Roots Foster Care & Adoption Program

For the Hispanic Family there is no greater treasure than that of our children.

The Foster Boarding Home Program offers bilingual (English/Spanish) services in community based foster care, adoption, home finding, independent living for teens, and such ancillary services as housing advocacy, education and training for youth, birth parents, and resource parents.

It is in our children that we place our sense of hope and aspiration as a community. Our children are the thread that binds our cultural tradition from one generation to the next. Thousands of Hispanic children in Brooklyn are in need of foster parents. Without these foster parents, the cultural thread that links them with our community is weakened. The Coalition for Hispanic Family Services is working to keep our families and cultural traditions intact.
