Beacon Center for Arts & Leadership

The Beacon Center for Arts and Leadership, a program of the Coalition for Hispanic Family Services, is an educational, recreational, and social service Community Center housed inside of I.S. 291 in Bushwick, Brooklyn. The Beacon Center provides opportunities to create, think, communicate, and problem solve through activities that build leadership skills and develop the self. We operate Monday through Saturday and are open after school, evenings, all day during the summer, and on most school holidays. Our different programs target elementary and middle school children, teenagers, and adults. We are committed to serving the entire family with programs which are high quality, innovative, fun and best of all, free.
